A series taking a deeper look into the Drag king scene during its resurgence in 2016, this series documents the ‘in-between’ stages of transition taken place behind the scenes at the king of the fringe show in Brighton. 'Dragging Gender' is a journey of experiencing the transformation of the people behind the drag to become their on-stage personas, capturing the disposition and finesse of the kings. This series focuses on the transition process as it documents change of gender and a time where there is no gender assigned.
